Choosing A Landlord

Choosing a landlord is an important part of choosing an apartment.  Even if you’ve found a great apartment, a landlord that you don’t trust or deals unfairly with his or her other tenants could put you in a bad situation.  When choosing a landlord, it’s a good idea to get an idea about how the other tenants feel about him or her.  If a landlord is well liked, it’s a good sign that they deal fairly and don’t take advantage of people.  It’s important to meet your landlord, talk with them, and trust your instincts when you are choosing a landlord.
