Learn About The Area

Are you moving to a new state, new city, or new part of town?  The first thing you’ll want to do is learn about the area.  Obviously, a great way to learn about the area is to talk with friends or family that may already live there.  If you don’t know anyone, you can call local businesses that provide a local service, or find an informational center.  Most large towns and cities have an informational or welcome center to help newcomers learn about the area.  Another great way to learn about the area is to visit before you move and explore it yourself.
